SB 6484 - DIGEST

      Authorizes the legislative authority of a county to establish one or more land use-transportation benefit districts.

      Provides for land use-transportation management associations as voluntary associations used by employers and developers to improve the public transportation system.

      Provides citizens with a mechanism to participate in the process of improving land use patterns, public infrastructure deficits, and public transportation utilization.

      Encourages private sector initiatives to take a leading role in providing public transit.

      Provides for performance-based transportation brokering service contracts.
