     On page 5, line 11, after "appeal." strike all material to and including "interest." on line 16

EFFECT:  Deletes provision that would preserve debtor remedies for certain illegal assignments of retail charge agreements made prior to January 1, 1990 and deletes provision establishing sole remedy for security interest clauses contained in lender credit cards. The latter provision was originally incorporated when the legislation no longer applied retroactively.
