     On page 14, line 13, after "require" strike "a port district" and insert "the employer"

     On page 14, beginning on line 15, after "RCW" strike all material down to and including "41.26.030" on line 17

EFFECT:  Replaces a specific reference to "port districts" with a general reference to "employers," who are not to be required by an interest arbitrator to pay the increased employee conributions for retirement that result from the bill.  Port districts are the only employers affected by the bill who are also subject to interest arbitration.
