     On page 3, line 12, after "customer." strike "This section" and insert "Unless a city or town has enacted an ordinance or adopted a resolution dealing with the subject of outstanding or transferred accounts, this subsection"

     On page 5, line 14, after "customer." strike "This section" and insert "Unless a city or town has enacted an ordinance or adopted a resolution dealing with the subject of outstanding or transferred accounts, this subsection"

     On page 7, line 25, after "This" strike "section" and insert "subsection"

EFFECT:  Modifies the low-income exemption to make an exception in the case where the city or town has a relevant ordinance or resolution.  Also, it is clarified that the low-income exemption is for the subsection only.
