     On page 1 of the amendment, after line 19, insert the following:

     "NEW SECTION.  Sec. 5. A violation of section 3 of this act is an infraction under chapter 7.84 RCW, punishable by a fine of one hundred dollars."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct internal references.

EFFECT:  Classifies violation of seaweed harvesting limits as civil infraction, punishable by a $100 fine.
