On page 106, after line 32 of the amendment, insert the following:
"(22) Assure that subsidies or other premiums established by the commission for low-income persons or households are available to persons specified in RCW 51.12.020 and whose employers are exempt under section 455 of this act."
Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

On page 154, after line 33 of the amendment, insert the following:
"(9) Employers of persons specified in RCW 51.12.020 are exempt from the requirements of this section. This exemption may not be construed as exempting an individual from the provisions of section 454 of this act."
EFFECT: Exempts employers of the following categories of workers from employer mandates (same categories that are exempt from industrial insurance):
Domestic Servants
Private Home Gardening, Repair, and Maintenance
Work Performed Outside the Scope of One's Employer
Services Provided for Sustenance or Aid From a Religious/Charitable Provider
Sole Proprietors or Partners
Minors Working for their Parents on a Family Farm
Jockeys
Bona-Fide Corporate Officers
Certain Contracted Musicians and Entertainers
Certain Newspaper Carriers
Certain Independent Insurance Agents
Certain Booth Renters
Clarifies that such workers are eligible for the basic health plan and premium subsidies if they meet eligibility requirements.
