    On page 58, line 32 of the amendment, after "82.08.060." insert "Collection agencies that are paid by commission may collect the tax imposed by this chapter from the person owing or alleged to owe a claim in lieu of collecting the tax from the buyer.  The tax shall be considered a collection cost for the purposes of RCW 19.16.250(18)."

EFFECT:  Authorizes collection agencies to collect the sales tax owed by their customers from debtors.
