    On page 3, after line 19, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION.   Sec. 6.  A new section is added to chapter 43.08 RCW to read as follows:

    ETHICS AND CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.   Every person who is employed by or who is an officer of a qualified nonprofit organization is a "state officer" under . . ., Laws of 1994 (SB 6111) and is subject to the general ethics provisions of . . ., Laws of 1994 (SB 6111)."

    Renumber remaining section accordingly.

EFFECT:Makes employees and officers of nonprofit organizations receiving state funds to televise state government subject to conflict of interest and ethics provisions.
