Background: Every two years the Legislature adopts a biennial capital budget approving the expenditure of state moneys for capital purposes. On even-numbered years, a supplemental capital budget is adopted to address emergency needs for school construction, institutions of higher education, and other state facilities.
Summary of Bill: The total appropriations in the 1993-1995 capital budget are reduced $53.6 million. The state bonded portion of the capital budget is reduced $6.8 million and the other funding sources are reduced $46.8 million.
