BACKGROUND:
Fish and Wildlife Commission members must be selected so that three are residents of western Washington and three are residents of eastern Washington. Three additional members are appointed at large.
Under the current requirements some areas of the state may be unrepresented on the Fish and Wildlife Commission.
SUMMARY:
Each of the six wildlife regions of the state shall be represented by one commissioner.

TESTIMONY FOR:
Wildlife commissioners should represent all regions of the state.
TESTIMONY AGAINST:
The Wildlife Commission is reviewing the qualifications of commissioners and their report is due at the end of the year.
