Authorizing contracts between institutions of higher education and students to ensure availability of courses offered in sequences.

     AN ACT Relating to class availability at institutions of higher education; and adding a new section to chapter 28B.10 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 28B.10 RCW to read as follows:

     Institutions of higher education may enter into contracts with students to ensure that courses offered in a sequence or with prerequisites will be offered to students in a sequence and over a time period to allow students to complete the sequence of courses or complete the prerequisites and the course during the normal two-year or four-year stay at the institution of higher education.
