Protecting state employees from certain civil liabilities.

          AN ACT Relating to public employee duties; and adding a new section to chapter 4.24 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 4.24 RCW to read as follows:

          State employees covered under the provisions of chapter 41.06 RCW shall not be civilly liable for decisions, actions, or omissions that arise as the result of acting within the scope of the employee's official duties.
