Defining cove and bay for aquatic lands property boundaries.

          AN ACT Relating to aquatic lands; and adding a new section to chapter 79.90 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 79.90 RCW to read as follows:

          In determining property boundaries for aquatic lands, the words "cove" and "bay" may be used interchangeably.  For the purposes of this section, "cove" or "bay" means a tract of water around which the land forms a curve, or a recess or inlet between capes or headlands.
