HB 1828 - DIGEST

     Establishes the office of crime victim's advocacy and establishes the crime victim's ombuds within the office.

     Authorizes the ombuds to investigate complaints concerning possible violations of the rights of crime victims and make recommendations to appropriate authorities for action.

     Establishes procedures for use of records and testimony of the office in judicial proceedings.
