HB 1836 - DIGEST

     Authorizes local governmental entities to submit a proposition to the voters to fix and impose a sales and use tax on motor vehicle fuel.

     Requires the revenue to be used solely for the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of fixed guideways for high-capacity transportation systems.

     Exempts some fuels from the taxation.
