HB 1894 - DIGEST

     Authorizes public housing authorities to acquire or lease facilities on or near the site of a housing project to provide services to the residents.

     Authorizes the authorities to exercise any powers of an urban renewal agency.

     Establishes situations for participation by the authorities in projects for persons of low income.

     Declares that the authorities are not "consumers" for the purposes of RCW 82.04.190.
