HB 1991 - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Provides for development of a plan for a home health visitor program that has as its primary purpose the prevention of child abuse and neglect by providing selected educational and supportive services to high-risk parents of newborns.

     Specifies the desired elements of the plan.

     Requires submission of the plan by December 1, 1993.
