HB 2137 - DIGEST

     Provides that no person may practice clinical laboratory science in this state unless licensed in accordance with the provisions of the act.

     Creates a clinical laboratory board within the department of health.

     Specifies the duties and powers of the board.

     Establishes a schedule of fees for licensure.

     Designates the standards for issuance of the license.

     Establishes disciplinary procedures.

     Makes laboratory testing without a license a misdemeanor offense.
