SB 5113 - DIGEST

     Revises the laws relating to the township organization of counties to provide limited self government in the unincorporated area of a county.

     Specifies ballot procedures to approve townships.

     Provides for the division of unincorporated areas into townships.

     Provides for the merger of fire protection districts and cities and towns into townships at the time townships are officially created.

     Provides for township supervisors.

     Specifies township corporate powers and zoning ordinances.

     Authorizes townships to contract indebtedness.

     Repeals specified provisions of Title 45 RCW.
