SB 5334 - DIGEST

(AS OF SENATE 2ND READING 3/17/93)

     Makes it unlawful, after January 1, 1994, to operate or ride upon a bicycle on a public road unless wearing an approved bicycle helmet.

     Provides that a violation shall not be reported on a person's driving record.

     Provides for public education regarding the necessity for helmets.
