     On page 45, after line 33, insert "A maximum of $5,000 from this appropriation may be used to acquire the surplus military base at Camp Bonneville for the purpose of developing a juvenile rehabilitation facility on the site." 

EFFECT:  Authorizes DSHS to use up to $5,000 from the $30 million appropriation for a new 176-bed juvenile rehabilitation facility to pay the costs of transferring Camp Bonneville to state ownership.  Camp Bonneville is to be used as a future site for a juvenile facility.
