     On page 40, line 7, delete "531,931,000" and insert "531,001,000"

     On page 40, after line 38, insert:

     "(9) $1,484,000 of the general fund appropriation is provided solely to meet the education participation requirements contained in House Bill 2010 (revising corrections provisions).

      (10) $850,000 of the general fund appropriation is provided solely for drug and alcohol treatment programs."

EFFECT:  Decreases the total appropriation to the Department of Corrections prison's budget by $930,000, made possible by P2SHB 2010.  This savings is a net of the additional savings of $3,264,000 made possible by the bill (and not already assumed in the budget) less the amount of the two provisos, $2,334,000.  The $1,484,000 is appropriated solely for additional education programs, as contained in 2SHB 2010.  In addition, $850,000 is appropriated solely for drug and alcohol treatment programs.
