     On page 23, line 33, strike "296,681,000" and insert "298,305,165"

     On page 23, line 34, strike "253,162,000" and insert "259,185,653"

     On page 24, line 1, strike "550,243,000" and insert "557,890,818"

     On page 24, after line 19, insert the following:

     "(4)  $285,165 of the general fund--state appropriation and $116,477 of the general fund--federal appropriation are provided solely to provide additional family foster home licensors to ensure the safety of children placed in family foster homes.

     (5)  $709,000 of the general fund--state appropriation and $289,176 of the general fund--federal appropriation are provided solely to provide group home and contract monitors to ensure the safety of children placed in group homes.

     (6)  $5,427,000 of the general fund--federal appropriation is provided solely to expand the number of children served by child placing agencies and provide them with a related service fee increase.

     (7)  $630,000 of the general fund--state appropriation and $191,000 of the general fund--federal appropriation are provided solely to provide foster parent training."

EFFECT:  Adds funding for family foster care licensors, group care and contract monitors, transfers dependent children from state caseworker caseloads to child placing agency caseloads, and provides for foster parent training.  Adds $1,624,165 GF-S and $6,023,653 GF-F.
