     On page 55, line 5, strike "30,419,000" and insert "35,274,000"

     On page 55, line 9, strike "70,564,000" and insert "75,419,000"

     On page 57, after line 4, insert:

     "(i) $4,855,000 of the general fund-state appropriation is provided for complex need grants.  Grants shall be provided according to funding ratios established in LEAP Document 30C as developed on May 4, 1993 at 11:00 hours."

EFFECT:  Provides funding for Complex Needs Grants at the level appropriated for 1993-95.  17 districts were awarded grants in 1993-95.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Increases General Fund-State by $4,855,000.
