     On page 14, after line 6, add a new section as follows

"NEW SECTION.  Sec. 12. A new section is added to Title 43 RCW

to read as follows:

  For the purpose of accurately describing professional health

services purchased by the state, health-related state agencies may develop fee schedules based on billing codes and service descriptions published by the American medical association or the United State federal health care financing administration, or develop agency unique codes and service descriptions."

EFFECT:  Provides health-related state agency flexibility in developing billing codes.
