     On page 1, line 6, before "The" insert "(1)"

     On page 1, line 12, after "disposal standards" insert "(2)"

     On page 2, line 2, after "standard." insert the following:

     "This section shall only apply to landfills with a total capacity of less than two million tons of municipal solid waste as of October 1, 1993."

EFFECT: Provides that only those landfills with a capacity of less than two million tons are exempted from a section of the new minimum functional standards for muncipal solid waste landfills.
