     Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert the following:

     "NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  The house of representatives financial institutions and insurance committee shall conduct a study on  underinsured motorist insurance issues in Washington state during the 1995 interim."

     Correct the title reference accordingly.  

EFFECT:  Removes changes to current law on underinsured motorist insurance made by the bill and, instead, requires the House Financial Institutions & Insurance Committee to do an interim study on underinsured motorist insurance issues.
