     On page 4, after line 15, insert the following:

     "NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. A new section is added the chapter 49.12 RCW to read as follows:

     Any employer who causes a minor to violate the truancy provisions of RCW 28A.225.010 or RCW 28A.225.080 shall be subject to the fines provided in RCW 28A.225.090."

     Renumber the remaining sections accordingly and correct the title.

EFFECT:  Employers who cause minors to violate school truancy laws will be subject to a fine of $25 for each day of unexcused absence.
