     On page 6, line 4, strike "class C felony" and insert "((class C felony)) gross misdemeanor"

EFFECT:  Reduces to a gross misdemeanor the current crime committed by the owner of a dog that "aggressively attacks and causes severe injury or death of any human." This crime applies whether or not the dog had previously been declared dangerous.
