     On page 3, beginning on line 29, strike all of section 3.

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct the title and any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Language is removed that would permit the Joint Center for Higher Education, higher education institutions, and related boards to contract for services if the contracts would not result in the termination of state-funded permanent classified employees employed on the date the act takes effect.
