     On page 1, beginning on line 4, strike all of section 1 and insert the following:

     "Sec. 1.  RCW 9A.82.903 and 1985 c 455 ' 22 are each amended to read as follows:

     The following acts or parts of acts as they now exist or are hereafter amended are each repealed effective July 1, ((1995)) 1997.

     Correct the title accordingly.

EFFECT:  Extends the expiration date of the Criminal Profiteering Act by 2 years instead of removing the expiration date altogether.
