     On page 2, beginning on line 25 of the amendment, after "therein." strike all matter through "individual." on line 28

EFFECT:  Deletes the requirement that service of process for an action against a marital community must be made on both spouses if the spouses do not reside together.  Deletes the language specifying that if an action is against the separate property of a spouse, service of process may only be made on that spouse.
