     On page 3, after line 16, insert the following:

     "(9) In the event any student records, including but not limited to academic performance, special placement and disciplinary history records, are transmitted between private and public schools, the parent or legal guardian of such student shall immediately be notified of such action and have the immediate opportunity to inspect or review any such records."

     Correct internal references accordingly

EFFECT:  Adds provision that parents or legal guardians be notified and have the opportunity to inspect records transmitted between public and private schools.
