     On page 1, line 20 of the amendment, after "require" strike "of candidates for licensure"

     On page 1, line 22 of the amendment, after "degree" strike "." and insert "of candidates applying to take a licensing examination.  A licensing agency may require of candidates for licensure additional credits in the candidate's major or minor fields of study or in a related field of study."

EFFECT:  Unless additional educational requirements are adopted in statute, a licensing agency under Title 18 RCW may not require more than a bacclaaureate degree of candidates applying to take a licensing examination. The agency may require additional credits for licensure in the candidate's major or minor fields of study or in a related field.
