     On page 5, line 36 of the amendment, after "law." insert "Except with regard to the specific powers and duties expressly granted to the board by this section, the powers granted to the board and the commissions by this chapter shall, within the geographic jurisdiction of a commission, be exercised by the commission."

EFFECT:  Except with regard to certain powers and duties expressly granted to the board, the authorities transferred from the Department of Ecology to the board and the commissions and exercised within the geographic jurisdiction of a commission are exercised by the commission.
