     On page 4, line 29, after "program" strike "or the board's alcohol server training program"

     On page 4, line 30, after "1993," strike "and prior to January 1, 1997,"

EFFECT:  This amendment does the following:  (1) Applicants for Class 12 and Class 13 alcohol server permits who completed an alcohol server training program offered by the Liquor Control Board after July 1, 1993, may not use that training to satisfy the permit training requirement. (2) When the alcohol server permit program was established in 1995, the Liquor Control Board's training program was not included as a training option.  Language is deleted that would allow the Liquor Control Board's programs to be used until January 1, 1997.  (3)  Nationally recognized programs may be used to satisfy training requirements for alcohol server permits after January 1, 1997.
