     On page 1, on line 12, after "assessed a" strike "two" and insert "five"

     On page 1, on line 14, after "first" strike "two grievances" and insert "grievance"

     On page 1, line 15, after "that" strike "are" and insert "is"

EFFECT:  The changes the Department is directed to seek to its federally certified grievance program are altered in two ways:  1) the fee an offender is assessed for a grievance filed in other than good faith is increased from $2 to $5; and 2) the number of grievances that an offender can file in other than good faith without being assessed a fee is reduced from 2 to 1.
