     On page 2, line 31, after "authorization" insert ":  PROVIDED FURTHER, that in the case of a first class school district, there shall be notice of the proposed contract by publication given in one or more newspapers of general circulation within the district"

EFFECT:  Requires notice by publication in one or more newspapers when a first class school district enters into a contract in which a board member has a beneficial interest.
