Providing a SEPA exemption for air operating permits.

    AN ACT Relating to an exemption from the state environmental policy act for the issuance of air operating permits; and adding a new section to chapter 43.21C RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.21C RCW to read as follows:

    Decisions pertaining to the issuance, renewal, reopening, or revision of an air operating permit under RCW 70.94.161 and rules implementing that section are not subject to the requirements of RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c).
