SB 6492 - DIGEST

     Establishes requirements to be met by any person who transports horses for more than thirty miles.

     Requires notification to a humane officer seventy-two hours prior to transport for the purposes of inspection of the vehicle.

     Designates the elements of animal cruelty in the second degree and specifies the penalties for violations.
