     On page 8, beginning on line 17, strike all of section 13 and section 14

     Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

     On page 9, after line 9, insert the following:

ANEW SECTION. Sec. 18.  If specific funding for the purposes of this act, referencing this act by bill or chapter number, is not provided by June 30, 1998, in the omnibus appropriations act, this act is null and void.@

     Correct the title.

EFFECT: The general fund appropriations to the department of agriculture and the department of community, trade, and economic development for the fair fund and the trade fair fund are stricken.  If funding is not provided in the appropriations act, this bill is null and void.
