    On page 2, beginning on line 6, after "art" strike all material through "state" on line 9, and insert "((or)), material of anthropological, scientific, or medical significance, or material used for educational or health purposes funded in part or in whole by the state, county, municipality, or other political subdivision of the state,"

EFFECT:  Clarifies that material of scientific or medical significance need not be funded by a governing political body.

    On page 2, line 11, after "(4)" insert "Exhibition of a television program rated TVY, TVY7, TVG, TVPG, or TV14 in accordance with the TV parental guidelines developed by the television industry shall not be considered a violation of this section.

EFFECT:  Provides that television programs with any rating under the TV parental guidelines other than "TVMA," which indicates that the program is designed for adults and may be unsuitable for children under age 17, will not be considered in violation of this law.
