AN ACT Relating to juvenile justice; and creating a new section.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. Through the enactment of this Juvenile Justice Reform Act of 1997, the legislature intends to strengthen the juvenile justice system, restore integrity to the process, enhance personal safety, and safeguard society from violent youthful offenders.
