Extending authority to cite for contempt of court. 


    AN ACT Relating to contempt of court; and amending RCW 7.21.020.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

    Sec. 1.  RCW 7.21.020 and 1989 c 373 s 2 are each amended to read as follows:

    A judge or commissioner of the supreme court, the court of appeals, or the superior court, ((and)) a judge of a court of limited jurisdiction, and a commissioner of a court of limited jurisdiction may impose a sanction for contempt of court under this chapter.
