(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Requires that written approval from the department or local air pollution control authority shall be obtained for aircraft crash rescue fire training activities before commencement of operations.  The combustion of petroleum products necessary to conduct aircraft crash rescue fire training is exempt from RCW 70.94.775(1), and the activity will not be considered outdoor open burning under RCW 70.94.743 through 70.94.780 if the requirements of this act are met.

     Requires the facility to use current technology and be operated in a manner that will minimize, to the extent possible, the air contaminants generated during operation.
