     On page 2, beginning on line 16, strike all material through line 12 on page 3.

EFFECT: Removes provisions that make it unlawful for drivers to use heavier studs in studded snow tires.  This bill already prohbits the retail sale of these heavier type studs beginning July 1, 2001.
