EFFECT: Clarifies that cultures and stocks are wastes that originate in laboratories. Removes a constraint on sharps waste containers C many of which are not red in color.
EFFECT: Prohibits the handling or alteration of cultures and stocks in such a manner that could result in the release of airborne pathogens prior to treatment.
