Brief Description:  Establishing Pearl Harbor remembrance day.

Background:  January 26 is recognized as Washington Army and Air Guard Day.  The ninth day of April is recognized as Former Prisoner of War Recognition Day.  The 16th day of April is recognized as Mother Joseph Day.  The seventh day of August is recognized as Purple Heart Recipient Recognition Day.  The fourth day of September is Marcus Whitman Day.  The 12th day of October is recognized as Columbus Day.  The second Sunday of October is recognized as Washington State Children=s Day.

 

Summary:  The seventh day of December is recognized as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day but is not considered a legal holiday for any purpose.
