SB 5080 - DIGEST

     Provides that each facility in the state that deactivates biomedical waste under a solid waste permit shall develop a hazard analysis and critical control points plan.  The scope of the plan shall cover the worker health and safety and health risks to the community surrounding the plant.  The plan shall be a systematic approach to the identification, evaluation, and control of safety hazards.

     Provides that the act shall be null and void if appropriations are not approved.
