SB 5476 - DIGEST
Provides that a person convicted of a crime against a child must be punished by confinement and fine to be no less than the following: By confinement in a state correctional institution for a term of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
For purposes of this act a "crime against a child" is designated as one of the following: (1) Rape of a child in the first degree;
(2) child molestation in the first degree; or
(3) homicide by abuse, if the victim is under sixteen years of age.
